Zollingeria

Zollingeria, locally known in Thai as “Dok Kee Nhon,” is a native plant found in the deciduous forests of northern and northeastern Thailand. The part commonly used in crafts is the naturally dried leaf, which is lightweight, softly curved, and displays a warm beige tone.

These dried leaves are ideal for handmade floral design. They can be dyed, trimmed, or layered to create petal-like forms or organic decorative elements.

Dok Kee Nhon is appreciated for its natural shape and texture, and it pairs well with other materials like sola wood or natural fibers. Its gentle curves and ability to absorb color make it a versatile choice for adding depth and movement to floral compositions.
